“A Jam for Joe” is an evening of cabaret curated by Barbara Maier Gustern, voice teacher and director to many Downtown luminaries, in honor of her husband singer/ actor Joe Gustern who passed away April 28th. The evening will benefit Spring Farm CARES, an animal sanctuary dedicated to rescuing animals and caring for them. As such, the tickets are tax deductible. Among the participants are Pangea regulars, Tammy Faye Starlite (hosting), Susanne Mack, Nancy Magarill, Austin Pendleton and Barbara BLEIER, Jenny Lee Mitchell and Sanda Weigl. From the Broadway community, Kimalee Bryant ( Phantom of the Opera, Christine) Pamela Winslow (Into the Woods, Rapunzel, Beauty and the Beast, and Meet Me in St. Louis). Latin music sensation Sofia Rei, opera and music theatre friends Bess Morrison, Carol Scarimbas, Hector Ubarry, Jill Cohen and grandson AJ Gustern.
